Zen ~ All Is One, One Is None, None Is All
  |
Zen is a form of Mahayana Buddhism— Chán in Chinese. Chán is derived from the Sanskrit Dhyana, meaning meditation. It emphasizes zazen (meditation) in search of awakening (the path of enlightenment), de-emphasizing theoretical knowledge and scripture in favor of direct realization.
All is here represented by the triangle, the three dimensions of space indicated by the three sides, joined at their ends to form one— all is one. One is encompassed by a circle, in this instance interpreted as zero or none— one is none. None in turn is surrounded by the heart, love being again the all— none is all.
