Trimurti ~ Creation, Preservation, Transformation
  |
Trimurti (otherwise known as the Hindu trinity) means God in three forms and depicts divinity as a figure having three faces, representing the divine roles of creation, preservation, and destruction or transformation. These are associated with Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva respectively, representing different modes of one supreme divinity.
Creation is represented by the triangle, a basic and foundational shape situated at the center of the symbol. Preservation is indicated by the encompassing and enclosing circle. Transformation (out of destruction) is symbolized by the most complex and exterior shape, the heart. See Hindu.
