Tao

Faith Symbol Main Page
When asked what in life is ultimately of value, Taoists offer supreme guides, what they call the three treasures— moderation, humility, and love. By being moderate one can be ample; by being humble— not trying to go ahead of the world— one can be leader of all; by being loving one can be brave.

The triangle's three sides block excesses in any direction, the key to moderation. The circle is the simplest of all shapes, thus the most humble. The heart of course is a universal symbol of love.
