Hindu ~ Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva
  |
The Trimurti or Hindu trinity represents the three projections of the Supreme Reality, each with a specific cosmic function— Brahma, creation; Vishnu, renewal and preservation; and Shiva, dissolution in preparation for re-creation. In our day-to-day existence we see these functions as birth, life, and death.
The triangle’s upward thrust suggests creation, or Brahma. The circle, making a loop or cycle, suggests continuous renewal, or Vishnu. The heart symbolizes both the pain of dissolution and the joy of re-creation— Shiva. See also Shakti and Trimurti.
