Christian ~ Father, Son, Holy Spirit

Faith Symbol Main Page
Orthodox Christians believe God exists as three persons and yet as one being. The persons are God the Father, God the Son (incarnate as Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit, each having the same essence, not just similar natures— “the one God exists in three persons and one substance, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.”

The triangle— evocative of creation, security, and basis of being— represents the Father. The circle, a symbol of life and rebirth, represents the Son. The heart, emblematic of love, represents the Holy Spirit.
