Buddhist ~ Buddha, Dharma, Sangha
  |
Buddhists take refuge and look for guidance in what are variously called the three vows, jewels, or treasures— Buddha, the ideal or highest spiritual potential that exists in all beings; Dharma, the Buddha’s teachings; and Sangha, the enlightened or practicing community.
The triangle with its upward thrust and stability represents the center— Buddha. The circle, surrounding Budda like an expanding ripple, indicates the emanations or teachings of Buddha— Dharma. The heart stands for the enlightened and supportive community— Sangha.
